No , you actually have to be level 4 to fight the gargoyle. He will come to life when you reach this level.

I think you log in and load your game. Once you get to your character, then if you save and exit there should be a red X on the right side of the Start button, that will let you rebuild the world. FYI you will only keep what’s in your inventory so pack smart
